Thanksgiving

Cont'd from page 3

you wonder, is there even a limit to the variety in God’s creations? Certainly not! Our Lord is Sublime. Our Lord is the Most High, the Great.

I’m so thankful to God for guiding me to move to this country so I could receive His message. And I’m so thankful to God for blessing me with a wonderful spouse that gives me tranquility and two beautiful children. Mã Shã Allãh. I’m so thankful for God’s reassurance: no matter how difficult the path God never leaves me. So very Grateful to God. God covers so many of my faults without which I am destined for hell. He Forgives me and immediately lets me know He has forgiven me. And I thank Him for my Submitting parents and family who time and again show me how amazing God is to give me such an immense blessing; my crazy cats who do all their funny antics that I thought not possible; my beautiful plants which are happy all the time. They really seem to be glorifying God, and you get to learn patience and love from them.

I thank God for a cool gentle breeze on a hot day. Such a blessing that soothes my soul and is divine proof of God’s Mercy.

And I thank God for the ability to pay for food, shelter and anything else I may need.

I have so much to thank God for, I cannot think of one over the other but my most favorite of all is the guidance / the prescription to our happiness. I am thankful to God for His CLEAR instructions in Quran for our salvation / everyday life. It is truly amazing to see my submitter family (my daughter) giving friendly reminders through God’s words in order to bring me back to Him if at times I fail to recognize God is running everything. I am also thankful to God for all the LOVE I feel through my daughter and our three birds. Interesting indeed is how the birds express their affection to us every day. God shows His Mercy through everything I feel. Not sure if feeling deeply is a bad or good thing but I feel so deeply that my eyes tear up with happiness, when I see God’s mercy. My daughter is a HUGE blessing upon me and at times I feel she is a test but the moment I am getting upset with her and she comes back at me with “mom, I am a test for you, and you don’t want to fail…”, is when my heart within feels a sense of happiness that she can understand God’s place and His system. Maa Shaa Allah.

I’m very thankful for the health of my friends and family and myself from God.

I thank GOD that He has shown me the path to Him and that He has blessed us with a clarifying messenger through whom He purified

our religion for us so we can focus on devoting all our religion practices to Him and to let us know what we never knew before. And I’m thankful to GOD for the irresistible smile that He has given to my 11-month-old daughter and creating the circumstances that now I get to witness it every morning.

I was sentenced to be executed by the Islamic Republic of Iran because of my political activities, but God saved me and I was released after just one year in jail. And I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) disease and I was not able to walk because of that, but after a while the plaques on my spine died on their own and I was able to walk. Praise God.

Thank You, God, for my being able to “sing your praises.” By God’s grace, I find zikr to be a very soul-nourishing form of worship. And I thank God for the various social welfare projects He has blessed me to be a part of. It has helped me be more appreciative of God’s countless blessings.

[Praise God, we had so many wonderful responses to this from all over the world that it will be continued in the December issue, God willing. We thank everyone who participated to make these issues special. Every month, every day, is truly Thanksgiving.]

[2:152] You shall remember Me, that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me; do not be unappreciative.
