These are the deals of man, of this material world. How do they compare to the deals promised by God?

You can stand in line in the cold all night for one specific day’s deals or you can contact God any time, any place, for any reason.

You can definitely save money on the deals of this world, and they will bring some joy. But this is temporary. God’s deals bring us precisely measured provisions, based on our needs and wants in this life, and more importantly joy and happiness forever in the Hereafter.

Different Priorities

[3:14] Adorned for the people are the worldly pleasures, such as the women, having children, piles upon piles of gold and silver, trained horses, livestock, and crops. These are the materials of this world. A far better abode is reserved at GOD.
[3:15] Say, “Let me inform you of a much better deal: for those who lead a righteous life, reserved at their Lord, are gardens with flowing streams, and pure spouses, and joy in GOD’s blessings.” GOD is Seer of His worshipers.

Deals at the store may be limited. You may get this price today only. And you may only be able to take one or two at the bargain price.

God’s deal is available 24/7 in unlimited amounts.

[3:74] He specifies His mercy for whomever He wills; GOD possesses unlimited grace.

[57:29] Thus, the followers of previous scripture should know that they have not monopolized GOD’s mercy and grace, and that all grace is in GOD’s hand. He bestows it upon whomever He wills. GOD is Possessor of Infinite Grace.

Does this mean we shouldn’t go after deals in this world? Of course not. God tells us to use common sense and not neglect our share of this world. So, if we find a bargain on something we want, we should certainly take advantage of it. We should just always remember that there is no deal in this world that can compare to the deals offered to us by God. That will always be the Best Deal.

The Best Deal

[61:10] O you who believe, let Me inform you of a trade that will save you from painful retribution.

[61:11] Believe in GOD and His messenger and strive in the cause of GOD with your money and your lives. This is the best deal for you, if you only knew.

[61:12] In return, He forgives your sins, and admits you into gardens with flowing streams, with beautiful mansions in the gardens of Eden. This is the greatest triumph.

[61:13] Additionally, you get something you truly love: support from GOD and guaranteed victory. Give good news to the believers.

to the fires of deep
or the mountains that glow

Will your rest be serene
like a trip out to sea
or will you never slumber
and constantly wonder

Where did you go wrong
to never sing the angel’s song
what could you have done right
to have been blessed towards the light

You choose your own path
your heart leads the way
either to suffer His wrath
or to live the long day
