Quran

The Quran is a singular source of knowledge and wisdom. It is the best source of information. It sheds light on why some things are the way they are, and enables us to understand the meaning of things, in order to be able to look past appearance and make judicious decisions [16:89] ...We have revealed to you this book to provide explanations for everything, and guidance, and mercy, and good news for the submitters.The irrefutable proof that the Quran is the last scripture from God and that it is universal in nature, comes with the added responsibility of regarding it and following it. God has divinely preserved the text in such a manner that it is easy for the reader to identify any irregularity.  [15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.

The Quran is the perfect source of KNOWLEDGE; it is replete with scientific and mathematical facts. Facts that were revealed in the dark ages when it was not possible to fully understand the value of the information, as scientific instruments used to calculate them were not even in existence. For example:

Formation of the universe: It is accepted knowledge that the universe exploded from particles that burst into existence. Though science doesn’t know how and why this happened, scientists agree that this is how the earth came into existence. The Quranic verse [21:30] “Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?” serves to strengthen the faith of those who believe in God ALONE through this scientific marvel.

Breathing at higher altitudes: As we go higher in altitude, it gets more difficult to breathe as the pressure of the entire atmosphere decreases, so in effect there is less air to breathe.  Though the proportion of the gasses in the air does not change, one breath delivers less oxygen to the bloodstream giving the feeling of breathlessness. While this is a relatively new discovery, God has already informed us about this in the Quran. [6:125] … He renders his chest intolerant and straitened, like one who climbs towards the sky…

Shape of the earth: Many great thinkers and philosophers of the early centuries accepted that the Earth was flat,

since most of them couldn’t perceive any other shape. Pythagoras and Plato are early philosophers associated with seeing things differently. Plato suggested a spherical shape of the earth, which was confirmed scientifically in the following centuries. The Quran categorically informs us that God created the earth egg shaped [79:30] He made the earth egg-shaped.

The Great Feud: This is information about events that took place in a different dimension, before the creation of time as we know it. It is the reason for our exile to earth. [38:69] “I had no knowledge previously, about the feud in the High Society. {Footnote: The feud in the High Society was triggered by Satan’s challenge to God’s absolute authority. This is definitely the most important event in the history of the human race. We failed to make a firm stand regarding God’s absolute authority. This life represents the third and final chance to redeem ourselves (See the Introduction and Appendix 7).}

These are some facts that the world has come to know and accept only of late; however, God has given us this
