Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 2:152] You shall remember Me, that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me; do not be unappreciative. [Quran 14:34] And He gives you all kinds of things that you implore Him for. If you count GOD's blessings, you can never encompass them. Indeed, the human being is transgressing, unappreciative. The Thanksgiving holiday is about gratitude. We each have so much to appreciate--guidance, family, provisions, health, and much more. Sometimes we remember God during the big events and blessings--doing well at work or school, or getting a bonus or an unexpected gift. But life is also full of things to appreciate daily. The fact that we woke up to another day, our family doing well, our hearing, eyesight, and brains. Clean water and good food. A safe house to live in and modern comforts like electricity, running water, appliances and phones. Let us try to live each day as if it were Thanksgiving, and take time to appreciate the One who gives us everything.
