Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 30:42] Say, "Roam the earth and note the consequences for those before you." Most of them were idol worshipers. [Quran 29:20] Say, "Roam the earth and find out the origin of life." For GOD will thus initiate the creation in the Hereafter. GOD is Omnipotent. God encourages us to roam the earth. And it is for our own good. So much can be learned from other places, other cultures and other people. We can learn from the past and see the consequences of disbelieving in God. Conversely, if we truly follow God's commandments, and do the practices that He has given to us; if we sincerely worship God alone, then we can avoid the mistakes of the people of the past. Let us learn from the advice given in [Quran 22:46] Did they not roam the earth, then use their minds to understand, and use their ears to hear? Indeed, the real blindness is not the blindness of the eyes, but the blindness of the hearts inside the chests. We don't want to be blind in this life and we certainly don't want to find ourselves blind in the Hereafter. May God guide each of us and bless us with the opportunity to roam the earth, and the wisdom to learn from what we see and hear.
