Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Greatness of God* [Quran 39:67] They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand.* Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners. *39:67 Our universe, with its billion galaxies, a billion trillion stars, uncountable decillions of heavenly bodies, spanning many billions of light-years, is the smallest and innermost of seven universes. This incomprehensible vastness of the seven universes is within God's hand. Such is the greatness of God. See Appendix 6. Most people have heard the statement "Allahu Akbar" or God is Great. What do we feel when we hear: God is Great? Is there a sense of reverence for the Lord of the universe? Are we in awe? God is Omnipotent, the Creator of everything. God is the One who gives each creature life. He knows each of us before we are aware of ourselves--when we are tiny embryos inside our mothers' wombs. He knows every leaf in every tree, and every grain of sand on the earth or beyond. Every atom in the universe was created by Him and is under His control. Only God can say, "Be," and it is. Although we cannot fathom His greatness, it is an awe-inspiring feeling to take time to reflect upon how Great God is.
