Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 76:2] We created the human from a liquid mixture, from two parents, in order to test him. Thus, we made him a hearer and a seer. [76:3] We showed him the two paths, then, he is either appreciative, or unappreciative. [Quran 16:18] If you count GOD's blessings, you cannot possibly encompass them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. Thanksgiving gives us an opportunity to count our blessings. And we have more to appreciate that we can ever fathom (Quran 14:34, 16:18). Putting things in perspective, if Moses' people who had lived in slavery, had reasons to be appreciative (Quran 14:6-7), imagine how much more we have to be thankful for? Among other things, God has given a chance at redemption, guidance, freedom, provisions and protection. He has showered us with His grace, forgiveness and mercy (Quran 9:71, 10:60, 24:20). This life is a test and we can choose to be appreciative or unappreciative (Quran 76:3). Let us make the right choice each day.
