Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 67:15] He is the One who put the Earth at your service. Roam its corners, and eat from His provisions. To Him is the final summoning. [Quran 22:46] Did they not roam the earth, then use their minds to understand, and use their ears to hear? ... Humans have been travelers for centuries. We may travel for leisure (Quran 16:6), business (Quran 2:164), to emigrate (Quran 2:218), for pilgrimage (Quran 2:125), to appreciate God's earth, visit family and friends, or more. There is much we can appreciate when we travel. The journey itself is the first part to consider. God is in full control of everything, and we have to remember that when we travel. And that He is the One who moves us. Food is another wonderful part of travel--the world is full of different foods for different tastes. Travel can also help us appreciate the design of the earth and the variations in our languages and colors (Quran 30:22). God could have made the earth uniform, but He made marvels throughout and gave us much to see. May we appreciate His perfect creation all around us and all over the world.
