Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 45:22] GOD created the heavens and the earth for a specific purpose, in order to pay each soul for whatever it earned, without the least injustice.* *45:22 God granted us this life as a precious chance to redeem ourselves, denounce our ancient alliance with Satan, and rejoin God's kingdom. See Introduction & Appendix 7. Research tells us that having a purpose in life (and working towards it) is correlated with better mental and physical health. Unfortunately, many people do not have a clear sense of who they are or what is their purpose in life. They think their body is the real person. Therefore, even when they set up goals for themselves, they usually do so thinking of their body and not their souls. The average person is not mindful of the scriptural guidance from God that can help direct their lives towards happiness. It is a blessing to have the Quran in our lives as it helps us understand our true purpose in life (Quran 51:56) and gives us the road map to happiness in this world and the Hereafter. But it can still be a challenge to consistently remember God and actively work towards the Hereafter. May God help us keep our life's purpose in mind as we go through each day.
