In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 45:22] GOD created the heavens and the earth for a specific purpose, in order to pay each soul for whatever it earned, without the least injustice.* 
*45:22 God granted us this life as a precious chance to redeem ourselves, denounce our ancient alliance with Satan, and rejoin God's kingdom. See Introduction and Appendix 7.


The New Year can symbolize a new beginning. A new chance to fix our weaknesses and make better choices. Having a "second chance" in this world is a great blessing. It gives people hope.

God's grace and mercy are so immense that He gives us a lifetime of chances. We can sincerely repent and start afresh on the path to righteousness. But we don't want to wait till it's too late to make the right choices. Because we also need time to work on growing our souls.

May we be thankful for each new year and day, and work hard to make the best of it.
