Condemnation of United States Diplomatic Missions Attacks

The International Community of Submitters (ICS) strongly condemns the terrorist attacks and murders at the embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions of the United States in Libya, Sudan, Tunisia, and other locations across the world. Innocent Americans, Libyans, and citizens of other countries have been harmed or killed by evil people who have no place in Submission (Islam). The religion of Submission (Islam) does NOT justify nor condone aggression of any form.

Nowhere in the Quran does it say to kill those who insult God or any of His messengers. Instead, if people speak out of ignorance, God says to disregard them and utter peace (25:63, 33:48).

[Quran 25:63] The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

[Quran 33:48] Do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, disregard their insults, and put your trust in GOD; GOD suffices as an advocate.

Even if someone insults or disrespects God Almighty, God tells us to disregard such people.

[Quran 7:180] To GOD belongs the most beautiful names; call upon Him therewith, and disregard those who distort His names. They will be requited for their sins.

[Quran 7:199] You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.

The above verses make it clear that there is no question of killing the film-maker himself, instead submitters (muslims) are to disregard the ignorant. Consequently, killing innocent men, women and children for the foolishness of others--is most certainly out of question. God tells us in Quran that life is sacred. Capital punishment is allowed only in very specific circumstances.

[Quran 6:151] “...You shall not kill. GOD has made life sacred except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you, that you may understand.”

[Quran 17:33] “You shall not kill any person for GOD has made life sacred — except in the course of justice.”

And further, God forbids muslims from aggression of any kind.

[Quran 5:87] ...and do not aggress; GOD dislikes the aggressors.

[Quran: 7:199] ...You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.

Rules of War*

[2:190] You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors. [2:191] You may kill those who wage war against you, and you may evict them whence they evicted you. Oppression is worse than murder. Do not fight them at the Sacred Masjid, unless they attack you therein. If they attack you, you may kill them. This is the just retribution for those disbelievers.

[2:192] If they refrain, then GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

[2:193] You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors.

*2:190 All fighting is regulated by the basic rule in 60:8-9. Fighting is allowed strictly in self-defense, while aggression and oppression are strongly condemned throughout the Quran.

In summary, the true religion of Islam (Submission) forbids the killing of innocent people for any reason, and strongly condemns terrorists who defy God's religion and repel people from Submission (Islam) by giving Islam a bad name.
