Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 73:8] You shall commemorate the name of your Lord, to come ever closer and closer to Him. [Quran Sura 97 Destiny (Al-Qadr)] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful [97:1] We revealed it in the Night of Destiny.* [97:2] How awesome is the Night of Destiny! [97:3] The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. *97:1 The Quran was placed into Muhammad's soul on the 27th night of Ramadan, 13 B.H. (Before Hijrah). See also 17:1, 44:3, 53:1-18, and Appendix 28. The Night of Destiny is a wonderful opportunity to grow our souls. Many of those who submit to God spend this night remembering and commemorating their Lord. We have much to thank God for including the worship practices, the Quran filled with guidance and clear teachings, provisions for our bodies, and more. The Night of Destiny starts at sunset on Friday 5 April in USA. The Night of Destiny falls on the 27th Night of Ramadan (the night between the 26th and 27th fasts; night in the lunar calendar precedes the day). May God bless us with a peaceful Night of Destiny, and help us glorify Him and be appreciative of Him.
