Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 2:112] Indeed, those who submit themselves absolutely to GOD alone, while leading a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. [Quran 19:60] Only those who repent, believe, and lead a righteous life will enter Paradise, without the least injustice. [Quran 39:61] And GOD will save those who have maintained righteousness; He will reward them. No harm will touch them, nor will they have any grief. God tells us in the Quran that righteousness is a necessary quality for redemption (Quran 2:62, 2:112, 5:69, 19:60, 39:61). So, how do we attain righteousness? It's not something we can become on our own, as God is the source of righteousness (Quran 74:56). And, unfortunately, many people think they are righteous when they are not (Quran 35:8, 6:43, 27:4, 47:14). God teaches us that we must pray to him for righteousness (Quran 2:201, 27:19, 46:15). May God direct us to do the righteous works that please Him.
