Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, The Quran is full of wisdom (Quran 36:2) and contains all we need for salvation. What do we choose to do with the knowledge and guidance God gives us? On Friday, do we choose to go to the Congregational Prayer (Salat Al-Jumu'ah) and drop all business (Quran 62:9)? Once the prayer is completed, do we choose to remember God frequently (Quran 62:10) or do we forget? At lunch do we choose to eat moderately (Quran 7:31)? Are we honest at work and at home (Quran 3:17, 3:75)? God knows our choices. And God rewards the Submitters for observing His commands and remembering Him frequently (Quran 9:120, 11:115, 87:14-5). [Quran 52:48-49] You shall steadfastly persevere in carrying out your Lord's command―you are in our eyes―and glorify and praise your Lord when you get up. Also during the night glorify Him, and at dawn as the stars fade away. [Quran 11:115] You shall steadfastly persevere, for GOD never fails to recompense the righteous. When we return to God, He will judge among us equitably, without the least injustice. All the choices that we made are going to make a difference. Remember that if we are one of those who will barely miss hell (Quran 3:185), it could be a matter of one better choice.
