Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Giving to charity is one of the first traits of the righteous seen in the Quran (Quran 2:3). We are to be reverent as we give to charity (Quran 23:60), seeking to please Him alone (Quran 2:270-272, 76:9). God's servants are blessed by Him to be among the most charitable (Quran 2:195, 2:261-274, 3:17, 16:128, 33:35, 57:18), and at the same time give in moderation (Quran 25:67). [Quran 3:92] You cannot attain righteousness until you give to charity from the possessions you love. Whatever you give to charity, GOD is fully aware thereof. Submitters are once again organizing a project to build water wells for the needy in Africa, cooperating in a matter of righteousness with a registered charitable organization. By God's Grace many people have already contributed generously, and God willing the project will be active until September 30. Working together on similar projects since 2011, Submitters have raised over $125,000 by God's grace! The links at the end of this email provide more information, God willing, including a link to donate. [Quran 3:133-134] You should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous, who give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger, and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable. [Quran 57:18] Surely, the charitable men and women have loaned GOD a loan of goodness. They will receive their reward multiplied manifold; they have deserved a generous recompense.
