In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

The Quran has powerful examples of Submitters who had faith in God and put their trust completely in Him. In the story of David and Goliath, when Saul lost much of his army, those who were conscious of meeting God said, "Many a small army defeated a large army by GOD's leave. GOD is with those who steadfastly persevere." They kept their faith in God and prayed for His support (Quran 2:249-251).

We also have the example of believers at the time of Muhammad:
[Quran 3:173] When the people say to them, "People have mobilized against you; you should fear them," this only strengthens their faith and they say, "GOD suffices us; He is the best Protector."

Moses' mother was able to put Moses in the river without fear or grief, and God strengthened her heart (Quran 28:7-13). When Moses seemed trapped between Pharoah's army and the Red Sea, he had faith in God's inspiration that they would not be caught (Quran 20:77, 26:61-65).

     David and Goliath
[Quran 2:249] When Saul took command of the troops, he said, "GOD is putting you to the test by means of a stream. Anyone who drinks from it does not belong with me―only those who do not taste it belong with me―unless it is just a single sip." They drank from it, except a few of them. When he crossed it with those who believed, they said, "Now we lack the strength to face Goliath and his troops." Those who were conscious of meeting GOD said, "Many a small army defeated a large army by GOD's leave. GOD is with those who steadfastly persevere."

[Quran 26:61-62] When both parties saw each other, Moses' people said, "We will be caught."
 He said, "No way. My Lord is with me; He will guide me."

     The True Believers
[Quran 8:2] The true believers are those whose hearts tremble when GOD is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited to them, their faith is strengthened, and they trust in their Lord.


The Quran details many proofs for the believers (Quran 74:31, 57:25, 45:3-5, etc.), and its mathematical proof allows us to know every word in it is true. May God allow us to strengthen our faith and trust in Him.
