Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, With the negative opinions in the world about Islam, it can require hard work to maintain calm and set a good example. As Submitters we should avoid confrontation or trying to forcibly convince people about Submission (the true Islam as described by God in the Quran). If we become aggressive or argumentative, it may set a bad example and people may view Submission negatively. With God's help we reply in the best possible manner. A response that is logical and peaceful. May God help us minimize unproductive arguments and stick to His words and His guidelines when responding. If we set a good example with our co-workers, neighbors, relatives and friends--it may encourage them to find out more about God's religion. One God/One Religion [Quran 29:46] Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, & Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner--unless they transgress--and say, "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters." How to Spread God's Message [Quran 16:125] You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones. [Quran 41:34] Not equal is the good response and the bad response. You shall resort to the nicest possible response. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend.
