Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, One of the means God gives us for soul growth is charity. Submitters are blessed by God to be among the most charitable (Quran 2:195, 2:261-274, 3:17, 16:128, 33:35, 57:18) and at the same time are able to give in moderation (Quran 25:67). Submitters recognize that all charity is only for the sake of God and to please Him (Quran 2:270-272, 76:9). God provides us with opportunities to help the poor (Quran 9:60). A project suggested by submitters is cooperating in a matter of righteousness with a charitable organization to build water wells for the needy in developing countries. By God's Grace submitters have been generously contributing for the past few months and God willing the project will be active until September 30. [Quran 3:133-134] You should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous, who give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger, and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable. [Quran 57:18] Surely, the charitable men and women have loaned GOD a loan of goodness. They will receive their reward multiplied manifold; they have deserved a generous recompense.
