In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

We are given this interim on earth as an opportunity to redeem our souls and secure our future with God in the true eternal life. The more we do for God (i.e., to grow our souls), the higher the ranks in the Hereafter (Quran 4:95-96).

[Quran 90:4] We created the human being to work hard (to redeem himself).*

[Quran 94:5] With pain there is gain.
      [94:6] Indeed, with pain there is gain.
      [94:7] Whenever possible you shall strive.
      [94:8] Seeking only your Lord.

[Quran 2:207] Then there are those who dedicate their lives to serving GOD; GOD is compassionate towards such worshipers.


Given the many verses encouraging striving (Quran 3:142, 5:35, 5:54, 22:78, 9:111, 29:69, 57:10, 90:4, 94:5-8, etc.), let us ask ourselves, "What can I do to strive?"
