Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, One of the means God gives us for soul growth is charity. By God's Grace, Submitters are blessed to be among the most charitable (Quran 2:195, 2:261-274, 3:17, 16:128, 33:35, 57:18) and at the same time are able to give in moderation (Quran 25:67). Submitters recognize that all charity is only for the sake of God and to please Him (Quran 2:270-272, 76:9). [Quran 3:133-134] You should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous, who give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger, and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable. [Quran 57:18] Surely, the charitable men and women have loaned GOD a loan of goodness. They will receive their reward multiplied manifold; they have deserved a generous recompense. God provides us with opportunities to help the poor (Quran 9:60). An opportunity suggested by submitters is a charity that builds drinking water wells for the needy in Africa. By God's Grace submitters have been generously contributing over the past month and God willing the project will be active for four more days (September 30).
