Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, The old English proverb, "Make hay while the sun shines", reminds us to take advantage of opportunities before it's too late. The real opportunity is the one God gave our souls. God granted us this life as a precious (final) chance to redeem ourselves, denounce our ancient alliance with Satan, and rejoin God's kingdom (Quran 2:210, 38:69, 45:22). God has blessed submitters with the knowledge that to redeem ourselves we must believe in God, believe in the Last Day and lead a righteous life (Quran 2:62, 5:69). We must make the best of every day before it's too late (Quran 2:286, 6:128, 46:20). The time to nourish our souls is today, because we don't know what tomorrow holds for each of us (Quran 27:65, 31:34, 45:26). Crucial Commandments [Quran 14:31] Exhort My servants who believed to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and to give (to charity) from our provisions to them, secretly and publicly, before a day comes where there is neither trade, nor nepotism. [Quran 27:65] Say, "No one in the heavens and the earth knows the future except GOD. They do not even perceive how or when they will be resurrected." [Quran 31:34] ... No soul knows what will happen to it tomorrow, and no one knows in which land he or she will die. GOD is Omniscient, Cognizant.
