In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

The first pillar of Islam  (Submission) is clearly stated in the Quran, Torah and Bible.

[Quran 3:18] GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise.

[Mark 12:28-30] "Here, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: This is the first commandment.

Even though the message of worshiping God alone is clear in the scriptures, the majority of people who believe in God fall into idol worship (Quran 12:106). 

To emphasize the importance and absolute truth of the statement: "There is no god except He" (Arabic: La elaaha ella Hoo), God placed it in specific verses in the Quran as part of the 19-based mathematical design of His Final Testament to humanity. For example, there are 19 suras (chapters) in which "La elaaha ella Hoo" is mentioned.
