Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, In Quran 22:32, God tells us to "Indeed, those who reverence the rites decreed by God demonstrate the righteousness of their hearts." The rites of our religion are an important gift from God, to help our souls to grow (6:158). Additionally, Quran 15:99 states that observing the religious duties instituted by God is our means of attaining certainty. The practices of our religion were sent originally through Abraham (22:78, 21:73, etc.). When the time was right, God also sent messengers to recite His revelations. While the human tendency is to reject any new messenger, the sending of messengers is part of God's system to teach us and purify the religion for us (2:151, 3:164). [Quran 15:99] And worship your Lord, in order to attain certainty. [Quran 2:150-151] ... Do not fear them, and fear Me instead. I will then perfect My blessings upon you, that you may be guided. (Blessings) such as the sending of a messenger from among you to recite our revelations to you, purify you, teach you the scripture and wisdom, and to teach you what you never knew.
