Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, God commands us to be patient (Quran 2:153, 2:177, 16:127, 42:43, etc.). When we submit to God, and trust that God is running everything--He makes patience easier for us. We do not need to resort to duress, obsession or compulsion in discussion. Our focus is upon God, not ourselves nor the person next to us who appears to be rude or "provoking" our annoyance. [Quran 16:127] You shall resort to patience - and your patience is attainable only with God's help. Do not grieve over them, and do not be annoyed by their schemes. [Quran 42:43] Resorting to patience and forgiveness reflects a true strength of character.
