until the age of 40, after which it tends to steadily decline. As they realize life has passed them by, they become regretful. For the believers, as they get older, they feel they are getting closer to God. That’s the real life. It doesn’t matter how we feel physically when we get old, because every minute brings us closer to God, which is our ultimate goal. As we get older, we get happier if we are sincere and follow God’s guidance.

The day will come when He summons all of them (and says): "O you jinns, you have claimed multitudes of humans." Their human companions will say, "Our Lord, we enjoyed each others' company until we wasted the life span You had set for us." He will say, "Hell is your destiny." They abide therein forever, in accordance with God's will. Your Lord is Wise, Omniscient. — 6:128

Our happiness depends on how we set our goals in this life. Our goals should be to worship God alone, and know that our purpose in being here is to please God. We must continuously ask ourselves what’s the most important thing in our lives and we must make God our number one priority.

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. — Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13

Anyone who works righteousness, male or female, while believing, we will surely grant them a happy life in this world, and we will surely pay them their full recompense (on the Day of Judgment) for their righteous works. — 16:97

News & comments from the Mauritius Submitters

[Mauritius is situated in the Indian Ocean, approximately 2400 kilometres off the South East Coast of Africa.]

Dear monotheist brothers and sisters,

We’re writing to you from Port Louis, Mauritius. Recently, we had a debate with traditionalist Muslims, and naturally as the Quran dictates, these people were deaf to our arguments. When we provided them evidence from the Quran, here is a summary of what they argued:

1. Hadith is at the same level with the Quran; hadith is divine
2. Quran was transmitted through a chain of narration, just like hadith
3. It is a sin to believe in Quran Alone
4. Those who reject hadith are in fact rejecting the Quran

They insisted with more ridiculous arguments. They also challenged us and asked us how we know the Quran contains 114 chapters. When we mentioned them about Sura 25, verse 30, they said that this verse applied to people who reject hadith!!! So now, they can't even read properly: "my people have abandoned this Quran" actually means "my people have abandoned this Quran, because they reject hadith"! How misguided can they get?

They even organized a talk this last Friday, at one of their mosques and the title of the talk was "Quraniyoun égal Kufr" (Following Quran alone equals disbelief). I have photographed the poster in question—see the pic below. This is how far astray followers can go.
Peace and blessings to you all.

[25:30]  The messenger said, "My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran."

Note: Some of the things the traditional Muslims tell us when we discuss with  them to follow the Quran alone are:

You have been duped by the so-called "Quran only" groups who are masquerading as Muslims.

The hadiths are records of the words and actions of the Prophet [sm], and there are many verses in the Quran that says that we have to follow the Prophet [sm] in everything he says, regarding this Deen (religion); so in light of this clear and unequivocal proof, the 'Quraniyoun' will never be able to make us go astray regarding this matter, inshAllah Tha'ala.

So you’re wasting your time here mate.
